2010년에 개관한 갤러리가비는 현대미술의 향방을 가늠할 수 있는 국내외 작가의 작품을 소개하는데 그 근본 목적을 두고 있습니다. 또한 작가의 작업과 작품을 지속적으로 연구하고 이를 다양한 전시방법을 통해 제시함으로써, 관람객이 향후 좋은 작품을 컬렉팅 할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 매개자의 역할을 충실히 이행하고자 합니다.
특히 아직 주목받고 있지 못하지만 기법과 표현 및 주제의 측면에서 새로운 예술성을 보여줄 수 있는 중견 및 신진 작가들을 적극적으로 발굴하고, 그 예술적 성장을 다양한 방식으로 돕고자 하는 노력 또한 아끼지 않을 것입니다. 이를 통해 갤러리가비는 사회적, 문화적 변화에 따라 요구되는 갤러리의 새로운 역할을 선도적으로 수행하고 현대미술의 트렌드를 생산하는 예술적 공간이 되고자 합니다.

Opening in 2010, Gallery Gabi aims to introduce both domestic and international artists and their artworks which lead the direction of contemporary art scene. We also continue to research artists and works of art, present them in varied ways of exhibitions, and perform our role as a mediator who helps the audience to improve their collections in the coming years.
Specially, we try our best to actively discover both establishing and emerging artists who represent new artistic quality in terms of technique, expression, and theme, thereby help their artistic growth in every possible way. In doing so, Gallery Gabi is able to play a leading role required by social and cultural changes, and provide art space that creates contemporary art trend
